Looped Inventory

Items, stock on hand, purchase orders, stock takes, prices and stock reports

Looped Inventory keeps track of what you buy and sell: how many you have, what they cost and what you charge for them. Open it at app.looped.sh/inventory.

Inventory works with the other apps rather than on its own:

  • Invoices picks items on quotes, sales orders, invoices and credit notes. Invoicing an item takes it off the shelf, and an open sales order reserves it.
  • Financials holds your suppliers. Approving a supplier invoice with items on it brings the stock in, and stock movements post to the books at average cost.

What's in it

GroupPagesWhat they're for
StockDashboard, Items, Purchase orders, Stock takes (with Adjust stock)Day-to-day stock: what to reorder, what's on its way, counting the shelf and writing stock off or on
ReportingReports, Client price listsStock, purchasing and sales reports, and printable price lists for clients
SettingsPrice levels, Opening stock, Audit trailPrice tiers such as Trade or Retail, the stock you start with, and who changed what

The Dashboard is built around what to do today: Reorder now, Deliveries due, Negative or uncosted stock, stock health, stock value by category, and sales and purchases by month. Inventory follows the financial year chosen in the header. Every page is also in the ⌘K palette.

Owners can do everything. Everyone else needs an Inventory role, which you give on the People page in Manage. See Roles & permissions.
